While we have been seeing the history of Maharashtra through the stories of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj & Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, for the first time history will be retold through a new perspective by keeping the brave mother, Jijamata in the forefront! And through that we would explore how Swarajya was blessed to have her at the forefront of the battle against Mughal emperors and other enemies!

This unique perspective is to be seen in Sony Marathi’s brand new serial ‘Swarajya Janani Jijamata‘. The telecast of the serial begins from 19th of August and already the excitement for the serial is tremendous. Recently a teaser promo of the serial was revealed in which saw Jijamata and a very young ‘Shivba’!

It would be interesting to see where exactly will story start from in this serial! Will we meet Jijamat straight from her childhood, or after she gives birth the great warrior king? All that curiosity among lovers of historical fiction is on the peak! Whatever may the scenario be we are sure that it would be one hugely inspiring journey to re-learn history with a new perspective!
